Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged trespass and criminal mischief incident on Tuesday.

An RPD report said just after 11:30 a.m. officers responded to the 100 block of Northwest Cordelia Court after a man was seen breaking the window to the home and entering. Upon arrival, officers found the 31-year-old man inside the home. The suspect stated that he thought his grandmother lived at the location.

After further investigation, it was determined that the grandmother did live at the residence. The victim stated that she had not seen the man for over two years and did not want him on the property. The man was charged with first-degree criminal trespass and second-degree criminal mischief. He was taken into custody and transported to corrections. Bail was set at $6,250.
