Roseburg Police jailed two people for alleged disorderly conduct early Friday.
An RPD report said at 12:30 a.m. officers responded to a fight near the intersection of Northeast Jackson Street and Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard. They contacted both men, ages 30 and 40. Neither individual wished to pursue criminal charges, and they appeared to be parting ways.
After contact, the younger man went into a nearby establishment and reportedly struck a bartender, who declined to pursue charges. He was contacted again regarding the incident. While talking to officers, the second man ran up and shoved the first man to the ground. The first man was not cooperative and was detained.
Both people were taken to corrections on the charge of second-degree disorderly conduct. The older man was detained on $2,500 bail while the younger man was held on $2,000 bail. Both were released later on Friday.
