Roseburg Police charged a man with theft on Thursday night.

An RPD report said a victim claimed that a suspect had recently stolen three laser Christmas projectors from her yard in the 1400 block of Northwest Mortiz Court. The man had also allegedly taken the license plates off of her vehicle.

Officers later identified the suspect as Christopher Garrison who had been arrested on an unrelated case and was in possession of her stolen property. Officers contacted the 36-year-old man from Klamath Falls at 10:00 p.m. and he admitted to the theft.

The man was charged with third-degree theft and remained in custody. Bail was set at $16,250.
