ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOR WARRANT FOLLOWING TRAFFIC STOP

Roseburg Police jailed a man for a warrant following a traffic stop early Wednesday.

An RPD report said just after 1:50 a.m. an officer saw a convertible commit a traffic violation in the 400 block of West Harvard Avenue. The 40-year-old driver had a warrant for his arrest. The man was also suspended for driving uninsured.

The man was detained on $5,000 bail. He was cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured and failure of a previous violator to file. The man was released later on Wednesday.
