Sutherlin Police jailed a man for a reported harassment incident early Thursday morning.

An SPD report said at approximately 12:45 a.m. officers responded to a residence in the 500 block of South State Street after a 44-year-old suspect allegedly assaulted a victim. After speaking with all parties involved, there was probable cause to arrest the man for harassment. He was also charged with driving while suspended or revoked. Bail was set at $8,750.
