The Salvation Army in Roseburg has extended its window to accept applications for its Angel Tree program.

Due to an overwhelming number of calls and walk-in requests, applications can be made Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The program is designed for parents in need as a way to help them receive gifts for their children up to age 17.

Applicants need to bring:

*Photo identification for all household adults

*Proof of current address

*Verification of household income

*Confirmation of each child’s date of birth such as a birth certificate, immunization record or letter from the Department of Human Services.
