ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL WOMAN FOR DRIVING WHILE SUSPENDED

Roseburg Police jailed a woman for driving while suspended-misdemeanor early Friday.

An RPD report said at 12:10 a.m. officers stopped the 22-year-old woman’s vehicle in the 3000 block of Northeast Stephens Street and learned that her license was suspended at the misdemeanor level. Her probation officer wanted her detained for committing the new crime.

She was charged with driving while suspended or revoked, and the probation violation. She was cited for driving uninsured. The woman was detained without bail.
