A Eugene man was arrested for a probation violation on Wednesday afternoon.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 3:00 p.m. the 49-year-old was contacted after he was found to be illegally camping at Colliding Rivers Viewpoint in the 18000 block of North Umpqua Highway in the Glide area.

A deputy determined that the man was on probation and was wanted by this PO out of Lane County. The man was also charged with depositing trash within 100 yards of water. He was detained without bail.
