The Umpqua Valley is expected to see mild conditions and slightly above normal high temperatures for the upcoming weekend as November comes to a close.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford said afternoon highs will be in the mid-50s, with Saturday being slightly warmer than Sunday. Patchy morning fog is expected both days with partly sunny conditions in the afternoon. There is a slight chance of showers on Saturday night.

The weather pattern will continue next week, as December begins on Monday.
