Roseburg Police cited a man in a theft of medications case on Tuesday.
An RPD report said at 3:00 p.m. a supervisor at Umpqua Valley Ambulance said that one of the paramedics had admitted to using morphine on numerous occasions over a four-month period to cope with job related depression. The 47-year-old man from Riddle admitted to the crimes. He was charged with third-degree theft, unlawful possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, and tampering with drug records.
The man was released after being given the citations.
