COLDER LOW TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED FOR SOUTHERN OREGON

November 26, 2025 3:50 a.m.

Colder low temperatures are expected for the next several days in southern Oregon.

Information from the National Weather Service in Medford said overnight lows could be five to ten degrees below seasonal norms. For Roseburg, lows are expected to range between 33 and 39 degrees, with the lowest temperatures forecast for Saturday through Monday.

Forecasters said vulnerable plants and animals may be affected by these temperatures. Sensitive outdoor infrastructure may become damaged, especially with the duration of these conditions. While widespread precipitation is not expected, local frost or freeze conditions may create slick surfaces.

While the federal government shutdown recently ended, forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford are still not available to talk with the public or the media. An automated phone system with limited forecast information remains in place.
