ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MYTLE CREEK MAN FOR DRIVING WHILE SUSPENDED

Roseburg Police jailed a Myrtle Creek man for driving while suspended and driving uninsured early Tuesday.

An RPD report said just after 1:20 a.m. officers were dispatched to an apartment complex near the intersection of West Harvard Avenue and West Umpqua Street regarding a vehicle that had loud music playing for an extended period of time.

Officers located the vehicle and saw multiple traffic violations. An officer initiated a stop on the vehicle and spoke to the 19-year-old driver. Dispatch advised that the man was suspended at the misdemeanor level. He was taken into custody without incident, and a valid driver took possession of his vehicle. The man was detained without bail.
