Roseburg Police jailed a man Saturday, for a recent theft incident.

An RPD report said just after 11:30 a.m. the 49-year-old was contacted near the intersection of Northeast Winchester Street and Northeast Rowe Street. On November 20th the man was allegedly captured on camera at a business in the 200 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard, stealing a can of paint valued at nearly $79.

The man admitted to stealing the paint and he was taken into custody without incident. He was charged with third-degree theft. Bail was set at $1,250.
