ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOR ALLEGED DISORDERLY CONDUCT INCIDENT

Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged disorderly conduct incident on Friday night.

An RPD report said just after 11:00 p.m. officers responded to the 1500 block of Northwest Beacon Street after callers said a man had been lying in the roadway on three separate occasions, causing an unreasonable amount of noise, The 34-year-old was warned on the initial calls. While responding to the situation, the suspect reportedly made several calls and messages to 911, for non-emergency issues.

The man was charged with second-degree disorderly conduct and misuse of 911. Bail was set at $5,000.
