Roseburg Police jailed a man for warrants early Sunday morning.

An RPD report said at 12:50 a.m. officers contacted 42-year-old Andrew Atterbury in the 2600 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway and learned that he had several warrants for his arrest. Atterbury was tripped to the ground and allegedly struggled when officers tried to detain him. He was ultimately taken into custody after a brief altercation.

Atterbury’s warrants were confirmed, and he was taken into custody and transported to corrections. Bail was set at $14,000.
