A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect through 10:00 a.m. Wednesday.
Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford said visibility of one quarter mile or less in dense fog is expected. The Advisory area includes central Douglas County, eastern Curry County and Josephine County. It applies to the Umpqua Basin including Interstate 5 from Drain south to Roseburg and Canyonville.
Forecasters said low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous. Drivers should slow down and leave plenty of distance ahead of them.
