The YMCA of Douglas County has its annual campaign underway.
The theme this year is “Your Y. Your Legacy”.
Information from the YMCA said contributions will directly impact children, teens, adults, seniors, and families across the community. Donations provide children with care and enrichment after school, teens with a safe space to grow, seniors with connection, families with time together, a mom with a safe place for her baby while working out and parents with peace of mind knowing their child can thrive in a safe, welcoming youth sports program.
Contributions help keep the Y’s programs inclusive and accessible. This year’s goal is to raise $100,000.
Donations can be made online at: www.ymcaofdouglascounty.org/give. Checks and cash are also accepted at the YMCA front desk at 1151 Northwest Stewart Parkway in Roseburg.
YMCA of Douglas County CEO Stephen Stanfield talked about the campaign and the history of the organization on Inside Douglas County Monday on News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN. That interview is a KQEN Podcast at www.541radio.com
