Covering coastal Douglas County:

A Reedsport man was arrested for a warrant on Wednesday morning. A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said just after 10:00 a.m. a deputy saw the 32-year-old man along Highway 38, approximately three miles east of Reedsport and knew that the man had a valid warrant.

The man was temporarily held at the Reedsport Police Department before being transferred to the Douglas County Jail. The man was detained on $5,000 bail.
