Aviva Health is hosting its annual Vets and Their Pets Veterans Day celebration on Thursday.
It will take place from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. in Aviva’s parking lot in front of its facility at 150 Northeast Kenneth Ford Drive, just north of Costco in Roseburg.
The event honors U.S. Armed Forces veterans with a complimentary lunch prepared by Aviva Health staff. The festivities will begin with the raising of the American flag and the singing of the national anthem. Free massages and haircuts will be available, with other vendors on-site to share helpful information and resources.
Veterans are invited to bring their pets for complimentary services, like vaccines and microchips provided by Saving Grace Humane Society and basic grooming services from Sutherlin Pets & Grooming.
Aviva Health Chief of Staff Ron Harper, a retired U.S. Army lieutenant colonel said, “Each year we’re proud to stand with Douglas County’s veterans to thank them for the lasting impact they’ve made”.
News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN will broadcast live from Aviva Health from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. during the Vets and Their Pets event.
