A Springfield man was jailed for multiple warrants by the Oregon State Police on Monday afternoon.

An OSP report said at 4:20 p.m. a male was observed walking across Interstate 5 near the Edenbower Boulevard exit in north Roseburg. The man went from the southbound lanes, over the median and across the northbound lanes. The man was contacted and provided a false name. Once his identity was determined, the man’s warrants were confirmed.

The 58-year-old was taken into custody and transported to corrections. Bail was set at $20,000.
