ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOR ALLEGED DISORDERLY CONDUCT

Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged disorderly conduct incident on Monday.

An RPD report said at 2:45 p.m. officers responded to a gas station in the 1000 block of Northeast Stephens Street after the 62-year-old man caused a scene by allegedly banging on a gas pump and attacking employees. Officers were able to quickly detain him and learned that he damaged the gas pump when he banged on it.

After being medically cleared at CHI Mercy Medical Center, the man was taken to jail. He was charged with first-degree criminal mischief and second-degree disorderly conduct. The man was detained without bail.
