Roseburg Police jailed a man for a reported robbery on Saturday.

An RPD report said just after 10:50 a.m. officers contacted 29-year-old Landon Colvin outside a business in the 1000 block of West Harvard Avenue. An employee reported that Colvin had stolen a beer, valued at just under $3 from the store. The employee tried to take the beer back, but the suspect allegedly pushed the employee backward by using his elbow.

While being taken into custody, Landon reportedly resisted arrest by pulling away from officers. He was taken into custody without further incident. Landon was charged with third-degree robbery, resisting arrest and a parole violation. The man was detained without bail.
