Roseburg Police charged a man with two counts of trespass on Thursday afternoon.
An RPD report said just after 12:15 p.m. officers contacted the 39-year-old on the Roseburg Regional Airport property along the 3800 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway. The man admitted that he had crossed the railroad track and climbed the fence that lined the airport’s property. An officer contacted the owner of the airport, and they wished to pursue criminal charges.
At about 12:45 p.m. officers were contacted by the railroad company regarding two people trespassing along the tracks near the 2400 block of Northeast Stephens Street. Officers located the same man, along with a 42-year-old man, on the railroad property. Both were taken into custody.
The first man was charged with both first-degree and second-degree counts of trespass. Bail was set at $7,500. The second man was held on charges of first-degree criminal trespass and depositing trash within 100 yards of a waterway. Bail was set at $8,750.
