Roseburg Police jailed a man for a warrant and cited him for drinking in public on Wednesday morning.

An RPD report said just after 11:30 a.m. officers saw the 54-year-old walking on the sidewalk in the 400 block of West Harvard Avene with a beer in his hand. They knew he had a warrant. Officers contacted the man, and he began chugging his drink. Officers told the man there was a warrant for his arrest. It was confirmed and he was taken into custody. Bail was set at $10,000.
