Covering coastal Douglas County:

The City of Reedsport will have their second annual Reedsport Fall Festival on Saturday, November 8th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Events include:

*Kids can play games and decorate pumpkins while early visitors can try their hand at pressing fresh apples for cider from 10:00 am. to 12:00 p.m.

*An Artisan Vendor Market will offer one-of-a-kind handcrafted gifts created by local and regional artisans.

*Explore and discover the fascinating world of fossils with Dr. Win’s Pop-Up Museum, then journey through the universe inside the mobile planetarium, hosted by Southwest Oregon Community College Pathways program.

*Learn how to stay safe in a natural disaster with the Douglas County Emergency Management Department offering interactive presentations in earthquake and tsunami preparedness at 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

*Live music from the Beautiful Savior School of Music from 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
