Roseburg Police cited a man for offensive littering on Wednesday afternoon.

An RPD report said at 3:30 p.m. the 42-year-old was contacted after he pitched a tent on the sidewalk on the back side of the old Big Lots building in the 200 block of Northeast Walnut Street. There was trash all over the outside of the man’s tent. He picked up his garbage and agreed to leave. The man was released after being given a citation.
