Roseburg Police cited a man for prohibited camping on Thursday morning.

An RPD report said at 3:55 a.m. officers contacted the 44-year-old at his camp at the bike jumps in the 500 block of Northeast Stephens Street. The man said that he was tired of being at “The Point” so he moved to get away from other people.

The man had one prior conviction and agreed to clean up his camp. He was released after the citation was issued.
