ROSEBURG POLICE ADD ADDITIONAL CHARGES TO MAN ALREADY DETAINED

Roseburg Police have added additional charges to a man already detained in jail.

An RPD report said on September 26th, 31-year-old Grant O’Neill allegedly broke into the City of Roseburg Parks Department headquarters at Stewart Park, in the 1800 block of Northwest Stewart Park Drive. O’Neill reportedly stole fuel and numerous tools from the area, which totaled over $1,000 in value. He allegedly got into four different vehicles belonging to the city. When arrested, O’Neill was still in possession of some of the stolen items.

Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. additional charges of four-counts of unlawful entry into a motor vehicle, and second-degree counts of criminal mischief and criminal trespass were added. O’Neill was initially arrested on October 8th on an unrelated case. As of midday Tuesday, he is facing a total of 15 charges. O’Neill remains detained on $10,000 bail.
