Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged prior theft incident on Sunday.

An RPD report said at 3:25 p.m. officers contacted the 35-year-old who was already in jail on unrelated charges and questioned him about a shoplifting incident that reportedly occurred at a business in the 2100 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway on September 20th. The man admitted to being in the store and said he had stolen BB pellets.

He was charged with second-degree counts of criminal mischief and disorderly conduct. Bail was set at $12,500.
