A transient was jailed for a restraining order violation on Tuesday evening.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 7:25 p.m. a caller to dispatch said the 38-year-old was on the property in the 500 block of Ash Creek Road in the Riddle area, yelling that he was hurt. The man has an active restraining order preventing him from being on that property.

Deputies located the suspect in a pickup in the 1500 block of Ash Creek Road. He was taken into custody. Bail was set at $5,000.
