Roseburg Police jailed a woman for a reported prior theft incident on Monday.

An RPD report said officers contacted 37-year-old Richelle Spearen during a security check at a business in the 2900 block of Northwest Edenbower Boulevard and learned she was a suspect in a past theft case.

Spearen was interviewed and taken into custody. During a pat down, she was allegedly found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and admitted to having drugs on her person. Officers reportedly located a user amount of what appeared to be fentanyl.

Spearen was charged with first-degree theft, second-degree theft and unlawful possession of a controlled substance. She was detained without bail.
