ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOR DRIVING WHILE SUSPENDED

Roseburg Police jailed a man for driving while suspended on Thursday night.

An RPD report said at 9:40 p.m. an officer stopped the 32-year-old from Drain for a traffic violation in the 900 block of Northeast Klamath Avenue. During the stop, the officer learned the driver’s license was felony criminally suspended for a past DUII incident. The man was also required to have an Ignition Interlock Device installed, but there wasn’t one. He was taken into custody without incident. His parole officer authorized an additional parole violation charge. His vehicle was driven from the scene by a valid driver.

The man was detained without bail and was released on Friday.
