The 4th annual Blocktober Fest is happening on Saturday in downtown Roseburg.

It will be a family-friendly celebration of community, music, food, and local culture. From 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Southeast Jackson Street and Southeast Main Street will transform into a vibrant area filled with live music, vendors, entertainment and local flavors.

This year’s Main Stage will be headlined by acclaimed Oregon-born, nationally touring folk-pop trio Joseph at 4:15 p.m. That Other Band – TOB, will play from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. with Mother Smuckers performing from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

A Family Stage will showcase local youth talent, cultural performances, and community organizations. This will include cheer squads and theater groups to live music, dance, and even a visit from Wildlife Safari.

The festival will also showcase downtown businesses, local vendors and community partners, all stretching along Southeast Jackson Street and Southeast Main Street.

There will also be craft beer and wine, family activities, food trucks and more

Organizer Kristi Rifenbark said, “Blocktober Fest is about celebrating community and bringing people together”. Rifenbark said, “With live music, local businesses, family fun, and the energy of downtown, this event has something for everyone.”

Blocktober Fest is presented by NeighborWorks Umpqua and is supported by a large group of community sponsors.
