A 50-year-old Roseburg man was arrested Sunday evening for felony strangulation and other charges.

Royce Morgan allegedly choked a woman and caused injuries to her throat and neck, according to Roseburg Police. He also reportedly told the woman she was going to die and he would “leave her body in the river.”

Morgan was charged with felony strangulation, fourth degree assault and menacing. He’s being held without bail at Douglas County Corrections.
