A 42-year-old transient was arrested at a gas station in Oakland on criminal trespass charges after causing a scene Tuesday afternoon.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said the man was at a fueling station in the 600 block of John Long Road at noon. When DCSO deputies contacted him, the subject was allegedly verbally aggressive and made verbal threats to kill law enforcement on the scene.

The man was jailed at Douglas County Corrections on second degree charges but has since been released.
