A Roseburg man was arrested Tuesday night after a foot pursuit by Roseburg Police.

RPD officers reportedly contacted a 24-year-old while he was allegedly trespassing on the railroad tracks near the 500 block of Northeast Stephens. The man ran from officers, according to the RPD report, but was taken into custody.

The man is lodged at Douglas County Corrections on charges of first degree criminal trespass, third degree escape and a parole violation. He’s being held without bail.
