Woman arrested for theft and other charges

Roseburg Police arrested a woman on multiple charges after she was allegedly caught stealing items out of a vehicle Tuesday night.

An RPD report said the 40-year-old woman was seen inside a vehicle taking items out of the glove box around 6 p.m. on Southeast Rose Street. Officers reportedly located the woman at the corner of Southeast Jackson and Southeast Washington.

Police confirmed the woman had an outstanding warrant. She was taken into custody on charges of second degree criminal trespass, unlawful entry into a motor vehicle and third degree theft. She’s being held $15,000 bail.
