ONE MORE HOT DAY BEFORE DRY FRONT BRINGS COOLING

The Umpqua Valley will see one more day of unseasonably hot conditions with highs in the low 90s expected for Wednesday.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that a dry front will bring cooling to the region beginning on Thursday. Highs will return to the low 80’s through the weekend when another weather system will bring temperatures in the low 70’s and the chance of rain for a few days.

Tuesday’s high temperature was 91 degrees at the Roseburg Regional Airport.
