Oregon State Police jailed a man for possession of a stolen vehicle on Monday night.

An OSP report said at approximately 10:10 p.m. a traffic stop was performed on a vehicle that had been confirmed stolen. This took place in the 2100 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway in Roseburg. The driver, a 27-year-old from Glendale, was detained, mirandized and claimed to have purchased the vehicle. The investigation showed no proof of purchase.

The driver was detained without bail.
