Roseburg Police jailed a man on sex crime charges on Friday.

An RPD report said at 8:00 a.m. officers took an initial report on a video depicting 41-year-old Gregory Vanegdom and a juvenile victim engaging in sexual contact at a residence in the 200 block of West Berdine Street. Detectives investigated the incident and later took Vanegdom into custody. He was charged with first-degree counts of sex abuse, possession of materials depicting sexually explicit conduct of a child and encouraging child sex abuse.

Vanegdom was detained without bail.
