Roseburg Police cited a man for littering near waters and prohibited camping on Monday.

An RPD report said at approximately 11:15 a.m. officers contacted the 59-year-old in a camp located near the Gaddis Park bike jumps in the 500 block of Northeast Stephens Street. His camp was described as filthy with a large amount of trash scattered about. It was only 20 feet from the South Umpqua River. The man was released after the citations were issued.
