Roseburg Police jailed a fugitive early Tuesday morning.

An RPD report said at 1:50 a.m. the 33-year-old was contacted in a parking lot in the 1200 block of West Harvard Avenue, after an officer saw him with an open beer. He returned with a warrant and was detained. After the warrant was confirmed, he was transported to corrections. Bail was set at $2,500. The man was also cited for drinking in public. He was released later Tuesday morning.
