Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged harassment incident on Monday.

An RPD report said at 7:10 a.m. officers responded to a disturbance in the 1600 block of Northwest Estelle Street. The investigation found that the 62-year-old suspect slapped a victim after he showed up at her house and tried to force his way inside.

The man was charged with harassment. Bail was set at $2,500.
