Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged theft incident on Friday.

An RPD report said at 3:35 p.m. 50-year-old Jose Garcia was called in after he entered a business in the 2600 block of Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard and began drinking beer and wine. Garcia also reportedly poured beer and wine on the floor and on a newspaper stand outside the location. He had been previously trespassed from the business.

Garcia was contacted in the area and admitted to being at the location and drinking alcohol inside. He was charged with first-degree criminal trespass, and third-degree counts of theft and criminal mischief. Bail was set at $8,750. Garcia was released later on Friday.
