SUTHERLIN POLICE JAIL MAN FOLLOWING INCIDENT AT BALL FIELD

Sutherlin Police jailed a man following an incident at a ball field on Sunday.

An SPD report said at 10:40 a.m. a caller said a man at the facility would not leave and was cussing out the coach while children were practicing nearby.  30-year-old Dustin Rios was found at the ball field. When advised that he was under arrest, Rios allegedly resisted. He was taken to the ground and placed into handcuffs.

Rios was charged with second-degree disorderly conduct, third-degree criminal mischief, resisting arrest and a parole violation. Bail was set at $10,000.
