Roseburg Police jailed a man for a warrant early Thursday.

An RPD report said at 1:00 a.m. officers were conducting a security check in the 2100 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway and contacted a male that was digging in a dumpster. Officers identified the 27-year-old and determined that he had a statewide felony warrant, out of the Oregon State Parole Board. Dispatch confirmed the warrant.

The man was taken into custody and detained without bail. He was released later in the morning.
