ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN ON FIRST-DEGREE THEFT OF TRI-TRIP

Roseburg Police jailed a man on the charge of first-degree theft due to the theft of meat.

An RPD report said just before 4:00 p.m. Tuesday the 47-year-old was taken into custody at Sherm’s Thunderbird Market in the 2500 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway. The man allegedly left the store without paying for over $1,600 worth of tri-tip on two separate occasions.

RPD said no further details could be released regarding the case at this time.
