Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged bike theft on Tuesday.

An RPD report said at 4:30 p.m. officers responded after a caller said a male was riding a stolen bike near Stewart Park. Officers located the suspect near the Frisbee Golf Course while he was walking away from the stolen bike. Officers detained the male and identified him as a 40-year-old who had a warrant for his arrest.

The man was charged with first-degree theft and for the warrant. He was detained without bail.
