Roseburg Police jailed a man for a restraining order violation on Thursday.

An RPD report said at 5:10 p.m. a victim called and claimed the 68-year-old was at her house in the 1700 block of Southeast Starmer Street, in violation of a restraining order. Dispatch confirmed a valid restraining order, which prohibited the man from contacting the woman or being at that location.

By the time an officer arrived, the man had left the residence. The victim had a voicemail where the suspect stated he was coming over to her residence. The victim said the man entered her home, likely through a front window and confronted her.

Officers located the man later. He admitted to the contact and confirmed that he had entered the residence through a window. The man was detained without bail
