ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOR WARRANT, UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE

Roseburg Police jailed a man for a warrant, and unlawful possession of drugs, on Thursday afternoon.

An RPD report said at 4:40 p.m. officers contacted the 46-year-old in the parking lot of a business in the 1300 block of Northeast Stephens Street. He was found to have a valid felony warrant for his arrest out of the Oregon State Parole Board. The warrant was confirmed, and the man was taken into custody. He was allegedly found to have 2.77 grams of suspected methamphetamine in his possession when he was taken into custody. The man was detained without bail.
